FICAC Participates in 2026-2027 National Budget Consultation

The 2026–2027 National Budget consultations commenced on 18 May 2026, providing Government Ministers and senior officials with the opportunity to deliberate on national priorities, economic challenges, and key development initiatives for the coming financial year.
The Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) presented its budget submission yesterday through Acting Commissioner Ms Lavi Rokoika.
Accompanying her were Manager Finance Mr Umar Dean, Manager Complaints & Governance Ms Kolora Naliva, and Principal Accountant Ms Loreen Singh.
The Commission’s submission was guided by its Strategic Plan 2025–2030 and focused on strengthening FICAC’s operational capacity to combat corruption while ensuring responsible and efficient use of public resources.
The Acting Commissioner acknowledged the continued engagement of the Honourable Minister for Finance and the Ministry of Finance during the consultation process and expressed appreciation for the opportunity to present the Commission’s operational priorities for the 2026–2027 financial year
